Kohima: Nagaland BJP officials met at the Dimapur Town Hall on July 3 to sharpen their political machine. The state-level workshop brought together party brass, district leaders, and constituency heads to coordinate strategy. National Secretary Vinod Sonkar headlined the event. He pushed for a tighter grip on local operations.
Sonkar told the crowd that the future of the state hinges on hard work. He argued that the progress of Nagaland depends on strong organisation, dedicated leadership, and active public participation. The party aims to push development projects into every corner of the state.
State president Benjamin Yepthomi opened the floor. He demanded total unity from the rank and file. He wants workers to stay focused on serving the public with grit. The day included three intensive training sessions. These covered how to run the party better and how to connect with voters on the ground.
High-ranking officials and former lawmakers filled the room. The turnout included district presidents, Mandal secretaries, and various state office bearers. They came to prepare for the road ahead. The goal is a self-reliant and stronger party presence across all sixty assembly constituencies.
