Kohima: The Nagaland Legislative Assembly starts its ninth session on September 1. Officials are now finalizing logistics for the gathering. The Secretariat will issue car and gallery passes on August 29 and 31 during standard office hours.
Ministers, Advisors, and AHoDs need to pick up their credentials from the Special Secretary for Home at the Civil Secretariat in Kohima. Other personnel face different requirements. Legislators and their staff must collect passes from the Reception Counter at Gate No-II of the Assembly Secretariat. Heads of Departments, IPR staff, and reporters are directed to Gate No-I for their permits.
Political factions are also locking in their schedules. A meeting for all 60 legislators of the 14th Assembly is set for 3:30 PM on August 31 at the Chief Minister's Residential Complex. The Leader of the House requested full attendance for this session. Before that gathering, the NPF Legislature Party will hold its own meeting at 2:30 PM on August 31 at the same location as requested by the Leader of the Legislature. The Secretariat stated that "car passes and official gallery passes will be issued on August 29 and 31 during regular office hours."
