Aizawl: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma met with NITI Aayog member Dr. Joram Aniya on September 21 to fast-track development projects in the state. They sat down in Aizawl while Aniya visited for the NITI Aayog Regional Workshop on the North Eastern Region.
The pair targeted tourism expansion as a primary goal. They also explored how to leverage the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project once finished. Ginger production remains a major economic lever for the region. They hashed out plans to increase processing capacity and squeeze more value out of every harvest.
Lalduhoma pushed for more Atal Tinkering Labs in local schools to drive innovation. He thanked the federal think tank for its ongoing guidance. The Chief Minister said the state would continue to require the policy think tank's support and cooperation to translate its development priorities into reality.
Aniya promised to keep the pressure on. She guaranteed that NITI Aayog will work closely with state officials to keep these initiatives moving.
