Meluri Officials Push Reform Utsav Awareness Campaign

Kohima: Deputy Commissioner Phuleshe K. Yepthomi chaired a review meeting for the District Reform Utsav Committee at his Meluri office on September 28, 2026. The session focused on the progress of current awareness campaigns across local departments. Work remains. Yepthomi demanded that departments still lagging behind kick off their local initiatives immediately before the official portal goes live.

The push targets citizens at the grassroots level. Every department must get involved. The DC specifically directed the Education Department to spread the word to teachers in village schools. This strategy aims to gather broad public feedback and direct inputs. During the meeting, Yepthomi stated: "He urged departments that have not yet conducted awareness campaigns to initiate them at the earliest, ahead of the launch of the Reform Utsav portal."
