Imphal: Manipur Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho skipped a Cabinet meeting on September 10 at the Civil Secretariat. He cited the collective stance of the Naga Legislators' Forum for his absence. He claimed the decision was taken "for the sake of the Naga people."
Dikho refused to sit in a room with Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen. He accused her of leaking state secrets to her husband, Thangboi Kipgen. He identified Thangboi Kipgen as the president of the Kuki National Front.
The Deputy CM blamed Thangboi Kipgen for ongoing violence against Naga residents. He alleged that six Naga civilians were killed and mutilated during recent unrest. Those bodies currently sit unclaimed in a local morgue.
He blasted authorities for inaction. He questioned why Kipgen remains in the state government while these allegations linger. Dikho insisted his boycott is not a resignation. He claims he remains committed to peace and unity across Manipur.
