Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Y Khemchand Singh flew to New Delhi on the morning of Friday, September 18. He caught an early flight out of Imphal to attend a two-day conference in the national capital. State BJP leadership confirmed the trip.
The event, titled "Financing India’s Journey towards Viksit Bharat," will center on funding and long-term economic growth. Attendees will break down specific development objectives for the country.
Singh prepared for the trip with a meeting on Thursday evening. He hosted Union Minister of State for the Development of North Eastern Region Sukanta Majumdar at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The two reviewed infrastructure progress. Singh wrote on social media that they "discussed various developmental initiatives and ongoing projects in Manipur."
