Manipur Chief Minister Reviews Investment Deals and Teacher Demands

Imphal: Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh gathered top officials at the Secretariat today. He reviewed a stack of investment deals. The meeting covered MoUs signed for the agriculture, trade, and textile sectors. Some projects move fast. Others creep along in phases.

Khemchand wants results. He confirmed the government will keep a tight watch on all ongoing work to drive local employment and economic growth. He aims to bring more money into the state.

The Chief Minister also met with the Council of Teachers Association. The group presented a list of demands focused on service rights and teacher welfare. Khemchand promised to look into the complaints. He said, "The government had taken serious note of their concerns and would take appropriate steps to address them."

He stands by the teachers. Strengthening the school system remains a top priority for his administration. He wants the system to benefit the next generation.
