Itanagar: The Lower Siang District Administration issued an urgent travel advisory after landslides and mudslides blocked the Likabali-Basar road at Magi. Persistent heavy rainfall across Arunachal Pradesh caused debris to accumulate on the route, rendering the passage unsafe for vehicles.

Officials are currently monitoring the situation and plan to begin clearing the road as soon as weather and ground conditions allow for safe operation. Until restoration work is finished, the administration is urging motorists to avoid all unnecessary travel through the area.

For those who cannot delay their journey, the district administration emphasized the need for extreme caution when passing through known landslide-prone stretches. Authorities advised travelers to contact local police for the latest updates, stating, "Officials have appealed to the public to cooperate with safety measures and follow updates issued by the district administration as adverse weather conditions continue to affect several parts of Arunachal Pradesh."
