Shillong: The Indian Armed Forces will park their gear at the Polo Ground in Shillong for a two-day public exhibition. Residents can view weapons systems and military assets on July 31 and August 3. The display will run from 10 am to 7 pm on both days.
Organizers say the event aims to show civilians how the military functions. They want people to gain an insight into the various weapon systems, equipment and assets used by the military. Interested locals are invited to walk through the parking lot during the scheduled hours.
