Imphal West Mandates Digital Health Registration for Private Clinics

Imphal: Private health facilities in Imphal West must join the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The Deputy Commissioner ordered the move to make the district a national model for the framework. Officials finalized this decision during review meetings held on June 22 and 23, 2026.

Staff must report to the IT Centre next to Kombirei Hall at the DC Office Complex in Lamphelpat. Attendance is mandatory. Every proprietor, medical superintendent, facility head, or authorized representative must appear based on the notified schedule.

The administration issued a stern warning regarding the directive. "Non-attendance may adversely affect timely compliance with ABDM Health Facility Enrolment requirements and will be viewed seriously," the notification stated. Participants need to bring all documents listed in Annexure-I.

The mandate covers all registered entities. This includes hospitals, dental clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and pharmacies not specifically named in the annexures. Failure to comply will lead to consequences.
