Kohima: ICFAI University Nagaland hosted a seminar on Law in India at its campus on September 8, 2026. The Departments of Political Science and Management Studies ran the event alongside the university IQAC. Legal knowledge matters. Experts gathered to clarify citizen rights and procedural rules.
The university invited two special guests to lead the discussion. Supreme Court Advocate Souriya Das joined social activist and public commentator Kahuto Chishi to address the crowd. Chishi, who serves as the Head GB of Hevishe Village in the Niuland district, provided a local perspective. The speakers focused on promoting legal awareness for all attendees. The session aimed to strengthen the collective understanding of how the law functions in practice.
