Shillong: Students took the stage at Gorkha Higher Secondary School. They performed for the crowd to mark the ninth foundation day of the school Alumni Association. The event drew a significant audience to celebrate the institution's history and its graduates.
Association president Dhurbanath Thapa led the honors. He felicitated Mylliem MLA Ronnie V. Lyngdoh, who served as the chief guest for the ceremony. The school also recognized academic excellence from the past. Officials handed out awards to the meritorious SSLC batches from 1984 to 1987 to highlight their long-term contributions and success.
