Forum for Naga Reconciliation Honors Late Leader Niketu Iralu

Kohima: The Forum for Naga Reconciliation gathered at Shalom Bible Seminary in Sechü-Zubza on October 4 to mourn and honor Niketu Iralu. Friends, family, and elders met to pay tribute to his career dedicated to truth, peace, and unity. The service highlighted his significant influence on Naga society.

Family members shared memories of the man. His wife, Christine Iralu, and his nephew, Rev Dr Sanyu Iralu, spoke on his courage and moral clarity. They remembered his deep commitment to reconciliation. "Uncle Niketu Iralu's legacy calls us to continue the journey he began," the family noted in a statement.

The event looked toward the future. Pari Sanyu led a candlelight prayer to symbolize hope. The FNR reiterated that "reconciliation is a sacred calling," promising to keep his vision alive through ongoing dialogue and healing. His life remains a guiding light for the group's work.
