FOCS Pledges Long-Term Aid for Manipur Conflict Victims

Imphal: The Federation of Civil Society Organisations, known as FOCS, is doubling down on its commitment to internally displaced people. The group met with welfare leaders at its office near the War Cemetery at Kaboleikai. They aim to solve the urgent problems caused by the state conflict.

FOCS spent three years helping those forced from their homes. They plan to keep pushing for the safe return and rehabilitation of these families once the violence stops. The current fighting has caused widespread misery. The group issued a direct plea, stating the government must "take the necessary measures to ensure the cessation of the crisis situation."
