Guwahati: Minakshi Goyari, 25, vanished from her Boragaon home in Guwahati on August 25. Her family reported her missing to the Garchuk Police and demanded a swift investigation. They fear she was lured away by two new tenants living on the same property.

The family claims these women may have taken Goyari outside Assam using promises of work or other incentives. No proof currently confirms she was taken by force. Garchuk police investigators traced the missing woman's final known location to New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. Her mobile phone went dead immediately after that signal ping. She remains missing.

Financial ruin shadows the search. Her mother works as a daily-wage laborer to support the household, and her father is visually impaired. They struggle to understand how their daughter reached West Bengal. The parents continue to press authorities for answers regarding her travel and safety. Police have not ruled out any theory yet, stating, "As of now, Minakshi's whereabouts remain unknown, and there is no official confirmation regarding whether she left voluntarily or was taken elsewhere against her will."
