Eastern Naga Students Demand Probe Into Myanmar Drone Strike

Kohima: The Eastern Naga Students Association wants a full investigation into a drone strike on a civilian home in Langkho Village, Myanmar. The attack hit on October 3 at 12:04 a.m. Women and children were inside the house at the time.

A 12-year-old girl and her older brother suffered injuries during the blast. The strike leveled the residence and ruined the family belongings. The ENSA issued a formal statement on October 4 regarding the violence. The group warned against normalizing these assaults. They insisted, "civilian protection should remain a priority" for all parties involved.

The association expressed deep concern over the use of force near non-combatants. They called on authorities to secure the area and protect the public. The group offered solidarity to the Langkho people. They also wished the two injured siblings a quick recovery.
