Kohima: Mahipal Yadav traveled to Mangmetong village in the Mokokchung district on August 22. As an Under Secretary for the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, he arrived to survey the proposed infrastructure site at Government High School. He needed eyes on the ground.
Yadav spoke with the school principal, village council members, and various local elders during his stay. He compared existing site conditions against the formal Detailed Project Report. He told officials his visit was necessary to "physically verify ground realities against the Detailed Project Report."
