Kohima: The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) thanked the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) for backing their June 27, 2026, skill-based workshop. Council members handed out wet and dry waste bins to every attendee. They also furnished the NWHD office with new collection units.

DMC officials led an intensive session on trash sorting during the event. They taught locals how to handle waste responsibly to protect the environment. Proper habits matter. The group hopes these lessons improve sanitary conditions across the city.

The NWHD believes these bins will jumpstart sustainable routines for everyone involved. Collective action drives progress. The organization noted that "collective efforts such as these are essential in building a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable society."
