Kohima: Booth Level Officers in Dimapur are hitting the streets. They are visiting the homes of voters flagged for unmapped status or logical errors during the 2026 Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls. Officers will collect and upload necessary paperwork directly through the BLO App.
Residents should stay put. Do not head to the office of the Electoral Registration Officer or the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer for hearings. The District Election Office stated, "hearings would be conducted only in exceptional cases where considered necessary, with the decision resting with the concerned ERO."
If a hearing is mandatory, officials will move the process online. Your assigned BLO will handle the notification of the date and time. If you cannot make it, you can authorize an adult family member to attend on your behalf.
