Guwahati: The Cockroach Janta Party fired back at the All Assam Students' Union on Sunday. They slammed the student body for recent comments that sounded more like political posturing than advocacy. CJP leaders acknowledged the historical weight of the group but demanded better alignment with the needs of local students. They want the union to prioritize the classroom over political talk.

CJP officials argued that the current state of education infrastructure requires a unified front. They urged the group to move past statements and join the #SchoolThikKoroAbhiyan campaign instead. This initiative aims to inspect government schools and expose the failures hitting students and teachers across Assam.

The party claims this criticism is not about starting a fight. They want action. "Let us go together to government schools across Assam," the party stated, urging the union to hold the government accountable for poor facilities and missing opportunities. The CJP now waits to see if the student organization will trade rhetoric for fieldwork.
