Kohima: Census 2027 crews hit the ground in Kohima on July 3. They listed properties belonging to high-ranking officials. Deputy Commissioner and Principal Census Officer B Henok Buchem led the teams.
The officials first stopped at the Meriema home of Thejao Vihienuo, president of the Angami Public Organization. Additional Deputy Commissioner Vekusheyi Rhakho joined the team for the visit. They talked shop after the paperwork. Vihienuo pushed for total accuracy. He noted, "honesty and integrity in the exercise would benefit Naga society by ensuring reliable information for planning and development."
The team then moved to the city. They listed the official residence of Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen. These visits remain part of the broader House Listing Operations currently moving through the district.
