Guwahati: The Assam Police Special Task Force arrested Lance Naik Kiran Sinha today. He faces charges linked to a major drug trafficking operation. Authorities also took two women from Mizoram into custody during the same sting.
Officers seized narcotics valued at roughly Rs 3.50 crore from the suspects. The haul marks a significant hit against regional supply chains. Investigators have yet to release the names of the two women. "Further details regarding the source of the drugs, the role of the arrested police personnel and the identities of the two women are awaited," police stated.
