Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government moved nine specialist doctors to various district hospitals and health centers on July 27. The state wants better care. This reshuffle hits departments including Pediatrics, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Pathology. Officials aim to balance service distribution across the state.
Commissioner Pawan Kumar Sain signed the order for the Department of Health and Family Welfare. The transfers take effect immediately. The government stated the changes were made “in the interest of public service and with the approval of the competent authority.”
Dr. Ojing Tayeng moves from Yingkiong to Likhabali. Dr. Inan Lollen shifts from Boleng to Basar. Dr. Martum Jokik heads from Koloriang to Chowkham, while Dr. Rita Mena leaves Anini for Tezu. Dr. Tana Jesy Tara transfers from Doimukh to Sagalee. Dr. Deepa Yudik Taba goes from Seijosa to Anini. Dr. Surat Nabam moves from Pake Kessang to the Itafort Urban Community Health Centre. Finally, Dr. Nang Neeta heads from Aalo to Namsai, and Dr. Kago Aring shifts from Ziro to Tezu. All doctors must report to their new posts now.
