Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh forest officials blocked two-wheelers from a four-kilometer stretch of the Roing-Anini road. This follows a tiger sighting between the 19-km and 23-km markers on October 14. The ban took effect immediately.

Mito Rumi, Divisional Forest Officer of the Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary Division, released a public advisory this Wednesday. The order mandates caution for all travelers, tourists, and locals. Motorcycles face a strict prohibition during morning, evening, and night hours. Do not stop. Keep your windows up.

Authorities warned against sightseeing, picnicking, or loitering near the location. They also told residents to stop entering nearby forests for trekking or gathering produce until further assessment. The department insists that people obey conflict management guidelines and cooperate with district officials. "The forest department is directing commuters to follow a set of precautionary measures to prevent human-wildlife conflict," officials stated.

If you see the tiger, report it. Contact Range Forest Officer Magone Linggi at 7085459372 or 9436221862.
