Itanagar: The Academy for Cricket Excellence (ACE) claimed the Arunachal Club T20 Championship 2026 title by crushing Nirjuli Cricket Club by 58 runs. ACE chose to bat first after winning the toss and set a target of 132. Nabam Kama anchored the innings with 54 runs, while Nabam Dol added 17.
Nirjuli folded under pressure. They managed only 132 runs total, with Techi Neri hitting a team-high 16 runs. The ACE bowling attack dominated the chase. Pritam Prem Khant Raj took three wickets. Nabam Dol and Deepak Yadav grabbed two wickets each to seal the win.
Officials handed out several individual honors. Nabam Kama took Man of the Match. Pritam Prem Khant Raj earned Man of the Tournament. Additional awards went to Best Batter Dado Tachung, Best Bowler Darge Bagra, Best Fielder Ankit Gupta, and Catch of the Tournament winner Abhishek Pal. Nabam Jampar received the Emerging Player of the Tournament title.
Tagru Punung, Vice Chairman of the Eco-Tourism Development Board, and Dosh Dasi, President of the District Cricket Association of Upper Subansiri, attended the closing ceremony. Tournament Director Suraj Tayam used the event to announce future goals. He said, "The next edition would place special emphasis on women’s cricket and U-19 boys."
The tournament drew 167 total participants. Tayam plans to launch the second Arunachal Women’s Premier League soon. He credited Chief Minister Pema Khandu for the financial sponsorship and thanked volunteers and teams for finishing the season.
