AAPSU Demands More Staff for Anini Border Facilities

Itanagar: All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union leaders inspected medical and educational sites in Anini. The town sits near the India-China border in Dibang Valley. AAPSU president Meje Taku led the team. He traveled alongside All Dibang Valley District Students Union president Azen Mepi and general secretary Punji Apralo.

They hit two main targets. The District Hospital and the Government Higher Secondary School faced scrutiny. Both facilities suffer from severe personnel gaps. Locals briefed the union team on the missing staff members. The schools lack teachers. The hospital lacks medical workers.

Taku vowed to fix this. He promised to take these concerns to the Education Department soon. He wants immediate steps to fill those empty teaching spots. The union demands better infrastructure for everyone. They want to ensure basic care and schooling for residents in this remote border district. Taku stated, "The students union would take up the issue with senior officials of the Education Department at the earliest and seek steps to address the shortage of teachers."
