Itanagar: Rajiv Gandhi University in Arunachal Pradesh needs a new Teaching Assistant for its Department of Statistics. The school is hiring for one position in 2026. Applicants must hold an M.Sc. in Statistics with at least 55 percent marks from an institution recognized by the UGC, AICTE, or AIU. Candidates are also required to clear the UGC NET or JRF exams. Those holding a Ph.D. degree are exempt from the NET, JRF, or SLET requirement.
The university pays 1,000 rupees per class, with a monthly cap of 40,000 rupees. Interested applicants must show up for a walk-in interview on 22nd July 2026 at 10.00 am. The meeting takes place at the Office Chamber of the Head, Department of Statistics, RGU, Arunachal Pradesh. Attendees must bring original academic documents, photocopies, a valid photo ID like an Aadhar or PAN card, and two passport-sized photos. "Candidates must bring all their required original academic documents on the date of interview in support of their qualification, experience etc, along with photo copy of the same."
