Phek Government College Holds Fire Safety Drill

Kohima: Phek Government College teamed up with Nagaland Fire and Emergency Services to run a fire safety drill on July 17. The event taught students how to handle emergencies. Disaster Management Committee Convenor Ronald Difoe, Dr. Levinu Sakhrie, and Victor Vero organized the session.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Tsuchutu Joe led the orientation. He walked students through the basics of fire prevention. A specialized team followed his talk with a live demonstration. Students from the first semester of the BA and BSc programs received hands-on training. They practiced response tactics and studied the challenges that crop up during real fire emergencies.
