Kohima: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to young representatives during a virtual session on July 26, 2026. The meeting took place at the Deputy Commissioner office in Kohima. Twenty participants attended the event as part of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme 2026.
Modi praised the attendees for their work in India's border villages. He spoke about the strategic value of these areas. He told the youth to protect local culture and act as ambassadors for community development and national integration. The Prime Minister said, "He highlighted the strategic importance of border areas, underscored the need to preserve their rich cultural heritage, and encouraged the youth to serve as ambassadors of national integration, community development and self reliance."
The session moved the participants. They showed strong interest throughout the live broadcast. The event ended with a clear call for the youth to help build the nation and grow the country's vibrant border regions.
