Students, teachers, and industry pros are traveling to Meghalaya for the three-day meet. Organizers planned academic competitions, panels, cultural swaps, and networking mixers to fill the schedule. The goal is to build a national platform for students to test skills and scout new trends in travel and hospitality.
Delegates will take a field trip to Sohra. They plan to meet local residents and study community-based, sustainable tourism on the ground. A university statement noted the event aims to serve as a "national platform for students to present their skills, exchange ideas, and gain practical insight into emerging trends within the travel and hospitality sectors."
