Agartala: Transport and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury demanded a tougher, people-first Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday. He spoke at a district training camp for the Sadar Town unit. The event fell under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Mega-Campaign 2026.

Chowdhury pushed for the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. He wants the party to reach deeper into the grassroots. The sessions focused on ideology and organizational methods. Workers discussed how to improve the party at the booth level.

He described the event as a place for "fruitful discussions and exchanges of views" on future strategy. The goal is a disciplined force that answers public needs. He claimed that the training prepares cadres for upcoming obstacles.

The Minister tied everything to the philosophy of Integral Humanism. He urged the party to keep expanding welfare programs for citizens. His core message was simple. "We move forward with a firm resolve to dedicate ourselves to serving the common people and expanding welfare initiatives. Organisation must be strong, and public service must be widespread: this is our path."
