Manipur Delegation Tours Nagaland Tech Training Center

Kohima: A 17-member delegation from Manipur toured the Nagaland Tool Room and Training Centre in Dimapur on August 27. Sanasam Premchandra Singh, MLA of the 29-Kumbi Assembly Constituency, led the group through the facility. They checked out the labs. The team inspected infrastructure and training equipment to see how the center functions.

The visitors spent significant time at the Centre of Excellence in Industry 4.0. They examined robotics, 3D printers, drones, and IoT kits. These tools define the center's focus on emerging tech. The delegation also looked at rural technology projects designed to boost local livelihoods. They liked the work.

Staff detailed the center's core objectives and current initiatives to the visitors. This exchange highlighted the practical applications of technology in the region. The group expressed interest in potential knowledge-sharing and future partnerships between Manipur and the training hub. The visit wrapped up with the delegation praising the center's push for local innovation. As the center noted, the visit provided the delegation "an opportunity to understand the technological and training capabilities available at NTTC."
