Shillong: The Khasi Students’ Union Upper Shillong Circle has a new leadership team. Members gathered August 9 at the VTC Hall in 6th Mile to finalize the roster for the 2026-29 term.
Raymond Kharjana, president of the KSU Central Executive Council, presided over the proceedings. He administered the oath of office to the incoming executive members during the session.
The union selected Pynskhemlang Syiem as president. Hopeful Born Lyngdoh Mawnai will fill the vice president role. Meanwhile, Nangshngain Lakiang takes the post of general secretary, and Wankit Kharumnuid will serve as assistant general secretary.
