FTII Itanagar and SRFTI Open 32 Job Openings for 2026

Itanagar: Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute is hiring for 32 vacant roles across its Kolkata campus and the FTII facility in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Qualified professionals should submit applications through the official portal by 5 PM on August 3, 2026.

The institute needs 7 professors at Rs 155,200 per month, 6 associate professors at Rs 134,900, and 11 assistant professors at Rs 113,600. All teaching roles require a postgraduate degree and relevant professional experience ranging from 3 to 12 years.

Technical roles offer varying salaries. One broadcast engineer earns Rs 113,600. A production manager and a production manager for electronic and digital media both pull in Rs 87,675. Several other technical positions including assistant broadcast engineer, editor, sound recordist, two videographers, and one cameraman for still photography each earn Rs 70,200 or Rs 62,316 respectively.

The application fee is Rs 1,200, payable via SBI Collect. Applicants must upload their payment receipt during the submission process. According to the notice, "SC, ST, PWD & female applicants are exempted from payment of application fees as per extant practice of GOI."

Candidates must mail a printed copy of their application and supporting documents to the Registrar, Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, EM Bypass Road, Panchasayar, Kolkata 700094. These must arrive by 5 PM on August 10, 2026.
