Wilubou Marenmei, 33, of Khunkhu Naga Village, stayed in the Surgery Ward longer. He left the facility today. Bon credited the hospital staff for their work. He said, "I expressed appreciation to JNIMS Medical Superintendent Dr Kh. Lokeshor, doctors, nurses, technical staff and CMHT personnel for their care and treatment."

Donations helped pay the bills. Supporters and various organizations raised Rs 42,500. This money went to the Makha Relief Committee to help cover costs for the four patients.
