Relief teams are still on the ground. The district administration is handing out drinking water and food supplies to the hardest-hit families. Volunteers and various non-governmental organizations have joined the effort to distribute essential goods. The community needs more help. Residents remain in limbo, waiting for the water to vanish so they can start the long process of rebuilding their lives.
