Shillong: Electoral officials in Meghalaya opened the books for three East Garo Hills constituencies. Residents can now review the rolls for 41-Songsak (ST), 42-Rongjeng (ST), and 43-Williamnagar (ST). These documents follow the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.

You can check the lists at the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers or the Deputy Commissioner (Election) in East Garo Hills. They are available for inspection during standard office hours. The qualifying date for this specific revision is October 1, 2026.

Citizens wanting to add names, flag errors, or file objections must act soon. Official notices state: "Citizens who will turn 18 on October 1, 2026, may also submit Form 6 in advance from the date of the notice." You must submit Form 6, Form 7, or Form 8 by September 4.

Drop your forms off at the ERO offices or the Deputy Commissioner (Election) headquarters. You can also mail your documents. Ensure your post reaches the relevant office by the September 4 cutoff.
