Kohima: Dimapur officials are gearing up for the 2027 Census. The Office of the Deputy Commissioner and Principal Census Officer scheduled mandatory training for field functionaries to compile data for the Village and Town Directory of the District Census Handbook.
Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, the Deputy Commissioner and Principal Census Officer, ordered all staff from Dimapur Sadar, Dimapur Municipal Council, and East Dimapur to report to the Circuit House. The session runs September 23, 2026. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
The instructions are clear. "All concerned field functionaries have been directed to attend the programme without fail, with attendance made mandatory."
