Shillong: Dharmendra Kumar Javeri took charge as the new head of the North Eastern Region for the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited on August 1. He retains his current position as the Executive Director for the North Eastern Region Power System Improvement Project.
Javeri brings over 30 years of experience to the role. He joined the company in 1991. The veteran engineer holds a degree from MITS in Gwalior. His career path includes significant tenures across the Western, Eastern, Northern, and Northeastern regions of the country.
His technical background covers a broad range of industry operations. He has managed large-scale substation construction, complex transmission line projects, and the ongoing operation and maintenance of existing infrastructure. Javeri remains a fixture within the organization, stepping into this added responsibility to oversee regional power grid stability.
