Kohima: The Chakhesang Mothers' Association is tightening its grip on local crime. Executive members and area representatives met for an emergency session at Pfutsero in Phek district on July 18 to coordinate their response to community threats. They mean business.
Presidents and secretaries from all eight area units attended the gathering. They spent the day analyzing the current social climate and sharpening their strategy for community safety. The group plans to ramp up awareness efforts among their membership to stop illicit activity before it starts.
CMA president Zhonelu Tunyi confirmed the collective goal following the meeting. She stated the association resolved to "stand united and remain vigilant to help prevent crime-related incidents in the future." The organization remains firm in its pledge to keep the area secure.
