Bank of Baroda Hiring Financial Literacy Counsellor in Chumukedima

Kohima: Bank of Baroda is hiring one Financial Literacy Counsellor for its branch in Chumukedima, Nagaland. The bank wants applicants who hold a graduate degree, though candidates with postgraduate training in agriculture, veterinary science, sociology, psychology, or social work receive preference. The ideal candidate must speak the local language, know how to teach, and handle computer software.

Technical expertise matters here. Applicants need a solid grasp of banking, insurance, investment, pension, law, and finance. You also need strong communication and team building skills. The bank sets a firm age limit. "Applicant should not exceed 64 years as 30/09/2026" per the recruitment notice.

Experience requirements are strict. You must be an ex-banker at the officer cadre with at least five years of experience in a nationalized bank, regional rural bank, or private bank. Alternatively, the bank will consider people with five years of experience in banking, non-banking financial companies, or financial institutions. You can also qualify if you have worked as a business correspondent or coordinator for five years, or as an RSETI director for three years, or as faculty for five years.
