Itanagar: National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited officials inspected the 74.863-km Roing-Hunli Greenfield Alignment on Tuesday, September 22. The crew met on the Roing side of the NH-313 project. Everyone wants the road done. Attendees included the MLA from Dibang Valley, the Deputy Commissioners of Roing and Anini, and top NHIDCL staff from Itanagar and the Roing project unit.
The team scrutinized ongoing construction and logistical hurdles tied to the region’s rough terrain. This highway acts as a vital link to Anini and the rest of the Dibang Valley. Officials believe the route will drive economic and social growth once finished. NHIDCL confirmed the road works are slated to wrap up by December 31, 2026. The associated bridge construction should follow by March 31, 2027.
The project intends to solidify internal connections within the district. Better access remains the primary goal. As one official noted during the site visit regarding the work, "The Roing-Hunli Greenfield Alignment is a key infrastructure project for connectivity to Anini and the Dibang Valley region."
