Arunachal Minister Petitions Center for Women and Child Welfare Boost

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Women and Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul met with Union Minister Annapurna Devi in New Delhi on October 6. Pul demanded more federal backing to bolster state programs for child protection, nutrition, and early childhood care. She pushed for expanded opportunities for women and adolescent girls while tightening safety and well-being systems. The state wants more reach.

Pul reaffirmed the state government commitment to ensuring welfare schemes hit targets at the grassroots level. She thanked the central government for its support of anganwadi workers, helpers, and ASHA workers. These individuals deliver essential services to local communities. Minister Devi praised the recent Agan Milan Sewa Sammelan held in Arunachal Pradesh. This event honored the frontline staff serving the region. She specifically "acknowledged the contribution of frontline workers to the delivery of women and child welfare services."
