Arunachal Congress Joins National Protest Over Examination Paper Leaks

Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee joined the nationwide Chhatron Ki Goonj campaign on Monday. They demand urgent reforms to the national examination system. APCC spokesperson Johny Yangfo blamed the Centre for failing to stop recurring paper leaks. He said these breaches cause massive anxiety for lakhs of students nationwide.

The campaign, led by Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, seeks to amplify student voices. Yangfo claims the Union Education Ministry has fumbled the response. He argues that systemic lapses will persist without major structural changes. "Meaningful corrective measures are necessary to restore public confidence in the examination system," Yangfo stated.

The APCC also hit out at the government for detaining activist Sonam Wangchuk. They allege officials prefer suppressing dissent to solving actual problems. These protests have gained both national and international attention. Thousands of young people in Arunachal Pradesh took part in the push under the guidance of state president Bosiram Siram. The party promises to keep up the pressure until the government guarantees a fair process.
