Vice President Radhakrishnan Sets Two-Day Assam Visit

Guwahati: Vice President C P Radhakrishnan touches down at Guwahati airport at 10 am on September 6 for a two-day tour of Assam. Officials confirmed a packed schedule starting with the golden jubilee celebrations for Geetanagar College held at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra. He moves next to the convocation ceremony for the Srimanta Sankardeva University of Health Sciences at the Jyoti-Bishnu Antorjalik Kala Mandir.

Duty calls early Monday. The Vice President heads to the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati to offer prayers. He finishes his Assam stop at the Gauhati University Convention Centre. He will attend a civic reception there and lay foundation stones for various projects. Officials remain quiet on specific project details.
