Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia Tours Sikkim’s Ridge Park Orchidarium

Gangtok: Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, visited the Orchidarium at Ridge Park in Gangtok this Saturday. The facility, situated within the Swarna Jayanti Maitreya Manjari Complex, serves as a premier showcase for Sikkim's diverse floral heritage, housing an extensive collection of rare and indigenous orchid species.

During his inspection of the glass preservation atrium and growing areas, Minister Scindia expressed strong admiration for the state's efforts in ecological conservation. He noted that the site is so captivating that one could easily spend an entire day exploring the collection. His visit concluded with him signing the official visitors' book, marking a significant moment for the institution.
