Agartala: Tripura is moving fast. Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma led a high-level review at the Hapania International Fair Ground in Agartala to sharpen plans for the Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026.

Senior officials packed the auditorium. They spent the session mapping out logistics, cleaning up department coordination, and locking down the schedule for the flagship event. The goal is simple: put the state on the map for investors.

The government wants to broadcast the state’s industrial strength to entrepreneurs and industry leaders. Ministers believe the event will act as a major spark for the Northeast economy. Chakma’s team stated the conclave would “highlight the state's industrial potential and strengthen efforts to attract fresh investments.”

Officials are pushing for a business-friendly environment that sticks. They expect the summit to generate jobs and pull in fresh capital from across the country. Work on the ground is picking up steam as the administration gears up for the big show.
