Tripura Congress to Block National Highways Over Paper Leaks

Agartala: Tripura Pradesh Congress leaders plan to choke alternative national highways for two hours on July 23. The party chose four locations across the state for this symbolic blockade. They aim to rattle the government over repeated leaks in competitive exam question papers. The party also demanded immediate intervention from the Centre.

AICC member Bijendra Prasad Singh took the stage at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan to detail the grievances. He cited a grim statistic during his briefing. Singh alleged that 152 question paper leak incidents had taken place across the country over the past 12 years. He claimed most of these failures hit BJP-ruled states, wrecking the futures of lakhs of students.

The Congress party feels the Centre ignores these systemic failures. Singh stated: "The Centre was not giving adequate importance to the issue." Consequently, the party is pushing the fight both inside and outside Parliament. Rahul Gandhi is backing the students, and the party has dispatched coordinators to every state to turn this grievance into a national campaign.
