Kohima: The Thenyizumi Village Council recognized two high-ranking officials during a ceremony held at the local Community Hall this past Saturday. They honored Dr. Keveduyi Theyo, the Principal Director of the Health and Family Welfare Department, alongside Kenesa Dawhuo, Commandant of the 10th NAP (IR) Battalion based in Zhadima. The event celebrated their work and professional milestones.
VDB Secretary Zacusa Thisa served as the program lead. Pastor C Kroso Kezo of TBC opened the morning with an invocation prayer. Village Council Chairman Zhothiyi Dawhuo handled the welcome note. Both honorees took the stage to speak to the gathered crowd.
The event concluded with a blessing ceremony. Catechist Theduseyi Poru of TCC led the benediction. Pastor Rev. Veshoseyi Rhakho of TCRC delivered the final closing prayer. A press release regarding the event noted that "Both officials addressed the gathering."
