These talks aim to arm women with facts to improve family health. Th. Tiningpham Monsang told the crowd that women are the primary gatekeepers of family nutrition. She asked attendees to share what they learned with their neighbors to build a better society. "Women play a crucial role in every family and are primarily responsible for ensuring nutritious meals for household members," Monsang said.
W. Phajatombi highlighted the Commission's mandate to fight injustice. The group handles cases of harassment and offers aid to those suffering under difficult circumstances. She directed women to contact the State Social Welfare Department toll-free helpline at 181 if they need urgent help.
